The next meeting of the Houston-Galveston Area Marine Corps Coordinating Council will be the last Tuesday of the month at 1800 hours. The location of the meeting will be at Bayland Park Community Center, located at 6400 Bissonnet St Houston, TX.  242th Marine Corps Birthday Ball

We very much hope that you will be able to join us for this celebration. This year the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Houston Galveston will sponsor the 242th Birthday Ball for the United States Marine Corps on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport, 9100 Gulf Frwy, Houston, TX 77017. (713) 943-7979. This year's festivities will start with a Social Hour at 1800 hours. Our Speaker will be Lieutenant General Steven Hummer USMC Ret.We will be lead into the dining area for the Cake Ceremony by the Bagpipes of the Houston Highlanders promptly at 1900 hours. The Cake Ceremony will be followed by dinner and dancing. We will have the Music of the NITEBEAT. for dancing until 2400.

Tickets are $75.00 each, $750.00 for a table. The Ticket Registration Request attached must be filled out and sent to Marine Corps Coordinating Council, 9807 Waving Fields Dr., Houston, TX 77064. Sponsor a Marine
We are looking for interested parties to sponsor a Marine's attendance at this year's Birthday Ball. We have a number of deserving young Marines just starting out in their Marine life that without your generosity, will not be able to attend this year's Ball. If you would like to sponsor a Marine, please complete the Sponsorship Card attached and return it and your contribution to Marine Corps Coordinating Council, 9807 Waving Fields Dr., Houston, TX 77064 or contact Sgt Cris Martinez <> or or phone 281-671-4374 . As a sponsor, your name will appear in the Commemorative Program that each attendee receives at the Ball. The Marine Corps Coordinating Council is a 501c(19) organization so all contributions are deductible.

242th Birthday Celebration at the VA Hospital

We will have a Marine Corps Birthday Cake Cutting Ceremony at Veteran's Hospital, Sunday afternoon Nov 5, from 2:00 to 4:00pm It will be in the auditorium on the fourth floor of the hospital. The ceremony is attended patients at the hospital and visitors are invited to attend.                                 RETURN
