 The Military Times released their annual list of the best colleges for veterans this week. The state of Texas was well represented with nine 4 year universities and one community college represented. Houston was represented, with The San Jacinto Community College System being named as one of the best community colleges for veterans to attend. Variables that were looked at included an existing veterans office, support staff quality, academic support, graduation rate, and more. Overall, 86 4 year universities and 14 community colleges were ranked by The Military Times.
